For me its all about getting the arm-pumping exhilaration of a great shot. I'm a perfectionist and will bring studio strobes with 5' diffusers on location for the best lighting. I used to bring a generator too, but now my strobes are battery-powered! Don't trust a photographer with a small camera flash unit: that's where that deer-in-the-headlights look comes from. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska. I have lived in Washington State since the first grade. I graduated from Stanwood High School, in Stanwood, Washington, in 1970. I first got into photography, in my junior year of high school, where I was on the high school newspaper. After high school gradbe poud ouation, I went into the military. After getting out of the service, I went to different colleges here in Washington State, where I also took some photography courses, with one of the colleges being Skagit Valley College, in Mount Vernon, Washington, where I was on the school newspaper & did local assignment's around Skagit County. I have had my photo's published in local newspapers & my video's on the local TV Stations, in Seattle, Washington.
