My approach is two fold: responding to what is happening around me and directing what is around me. Yes, I will tell you what I think looks good, compose and direct. I love props and get very excited when a bride wants to have fun, quirky images! However, I will also remove myself from the director position and observe, responding to natural moments that are alive and moving.
