He studied photography at Ithaca College, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Cinema and Photography in 1989. Since then he has worked for newspapers, magazines and commercial clients. Adam Traum currently resides in Sonoma, California.
He has contributed to Newsweek, Washington Post, New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times, Christian Science Monitor, USA Today and Sports Illustrated, to a name a few publications.
Some of his commercial clients include Valero Energy Group, San Francisco Opera, American Conservatory Theater, Los Angeles Opera, PBS, KQED, Edge Dynamics, Homespun Tapes, Landmark Vineyards and B.R. Cohen Winery.
