Marcelle Raphael is an award winning professional photographer with a studio in the Harbison area of Columbia, South Carolina. She specializes in newborn and maternity portraiture and her images appear in national commercial advertising campaigns and many corporate environments. Her work is often displayed by vendors at WPPI's international expo and conference for photographers and Imaging USA, two of the world's largest photographic conventions.

She is also the executive director of Professional Photographers of South Carolina, Assistant Director of the Lamarr Williamson School of Photography, an affiliate leader of Professional Photographers of America, and a bereavement photographer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. As an educator, she is also active in continuing education for professional photographers and has developed her own course for beginning newborn photographers called "The Newborn Intensive Course" which focuses on all aspects of running a newborn photography business, not just the photography side.
