I am a documentary photographer working predominantly with 35mm, occasionally medium format, in natural lighting. I am not a studio photographer, instead opting to travel to third world locations for my subject matter. I come from a painting background and education taking an artistic approach with every shot. Composition is paramount in my work. I usually prefer traditional black and white film and darkroom printing and occasionally experiment with alternative processes and mediums for desired effects.
