While growning up in a small town in Northwest Indiana, Nathan Beckner did not always envision himself as a fashion photographer. Originally, he attended the University of Miami on saxophone scholarship majoring in Marine Biology. But as his studies progressed his inheriant need to create art led him to become enamoured with photography. After obtaining his BFA in photography from UM, Nathan set off for Europe working in both Milan and Hamburg further building his portfolio. In 2000 Nathan returned to Miami
