What should a photograph be? Should it be overly-posed with false lighting and a painfully fake backdrop? I do not believe that anyone should pay hundreds of dollars to receive a photo that looks like any other. Make a little boy sit on a cloth-covered table and you might get a cute smile but, let him run freely at the lake and I can capture that gleeful moment that he discovers a ladybug or frog. You can pose a little girl prettily with her chin resting on her fist but, I can capture her spinning dreamily under a canopy of dogwoods.
