In 2007, I decided to turn a hobby into a life and Jake Kosten Photography was born. While continuing to grow my business I also continued to further educate myself through the photography program at Grand Valley State University.

In 2009 I reached a final stage in my academic career when I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Photography.

I'm a 36 year old single mother of two beautiful children, and was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI.
